Roosevelt hotel. Another time he came up in an office building Came Out On The Third Level At Grand Central Station.
For Just A Moment Charley Thought He Was Back On The Second Level. Bu He Saw The Room Was Smaller. Fewer Ticket Windows, Wooden Old Styled Information Booths. He Sees Flickering Open Flame Gaslights. Looking. He Turns And Get Out Fast. Next Day He Withdraw Three Hundred Dollars Out Of His Bank , He Buys Old Style
Currency. His Three Hundred Dollars Buy Less Than 200
In Old Style Notes But He Has Never Again Found The Corridor That Leads To The Third Level At
Grand Central Station.
Louisa Is Worried, She Doesn’t Want Him To Look For The Third Level. Both Charlie And Louisa Have Proof That The Third Level Is Still There. Charley’s Friend Sam Disappears. Nobody Knows Where He Was, But Charley Suspects Him To Be In Galesburg. He Liked The Place Galesburg Very Much. Charley Had Often Told Him About The Place.
